The Lyme Museum is about you and for you.

If you would like to share your story, send us pictures or objects and become part of the museum project, let's have a chat! We are actively collecting the material culture of invisible illnesses and disabilities for our upcoming exhibition.

We will always ask you if you are ready to share your story online, and you can retract it at any time. We want this to be a safe space to communicate about the invisible sides of illnesses.

BLOGS

We publish original content in our blog section. We aim to challenge the narratives on invisible illnesses and disabilities, by publishing about historical and contemporary topics.

We are always looking for new writers. In 2020, we are looking for writing on the topics of:
- material culture of invisible illness and disability
- museums and representation of illness and disability
- accessibility in the everyday life and in museums
- discrimination regarding invisible illnesses and disability
- exhibition reviews

Blogs are usually about 750 words but can be longer for the right story! Get in touch with ideas, and we'll help you with editing and copywriting too. We can also transcribe from audio recordings.
